Overview
Following several successful seasons running turbochargers on the SKI-DOO E-TEC engines, last year BoonDocker launched a kit for the new XM chassis. The SKI-DOO XM turbo kit is loaded with the latest innovations from BoonDocker and following four seasons of testing on the E-TEC, the kit is proven to be a reliable system with a significant performance increase. This is what Bret Rasmussen founder of Ride Rasmussen Style and his instructor Tony Jenkins had to say about our BD Turbo Systems. “We have three turbo’d XM's on the snow, riding them daily. Eight pounds of boost on 91 octane with no sign of detonation, instant power with a flip of the throttle. Very manageable power, part throttle operation all day long, on and off throttle in technical riding situations. Yes, I will be keeping this one!”

The pre-assembled turbo kit is available with several different turbocharger, turbo housing, exhaust, and intercooling options so that the kit can be customized for different riders specific needs. Aluminum charge tubes feed an extruded aluminum intercooler that is mounted under the front hood of the machine, an electric fan ensures good air flow through the intercooler at all times. The XM Turbo System uses a Torque Building air box with dual tubular runners feeding air to the throttle bodies. This design has proven to offer an increase in low-end torque. Auxiliary injectors mounted in the air box feed additional fuel to the machine. These injectors are controlled by the BoonDocker Control Box. Adjustments to fueling can be made at the push of a button using the Control Box and 3D tuning allows for tuning adjustments based on boost, throttle position, and rpm for the most exact fuel mixture. The Electronic Boost Controller (EBC) is now integrated into the Control Box creating one simple unit that controls both fuel and boost. The turbo kit comes complete with all turbo and electronic components, clutching components, and a quart of T2C turbo oil. As always, all of our BD Turbo Systems will run on either pump gas or higher octane fuels.

Following the successful ProClimb M8 prototype machines for the Tapio Racing Team in the Spring of 2011, BoonDocker developed a consumer turbo system for the non-electric-start ProClimb M8. Don't let the word consumer allow you to start thinking that we're not offering you the same racing system. Following the successful launch of this BD Turbo System in 2011, Kyle Tapio went on to win the King of King title at the World Championship Jackson Hole Hill Climbs two consecutive years with his BoonDocker Turbo System. Another Racer who has enjoyed top finishes and the reliability of her BD Turbo System is Kaycee Balls.

Enjoy features like the Garrett 2860 turbocharger which fits in the place of the stock muffler and is lubricated by a self-contained oil system with a vented no-spill oil tank. Boost is fed to the throttle bodies through an extruded aluminum intercooler and a tubular Torque Building air box. The machine is fueled using auxiliary fuel injectors controlled by the Control Box.

The BD Control Box with integrated Electronic Boost Controller (EBC), also features 3D tuning that allows the user to tune the machine based on boost, rpm, and throttle position. Turbo boost is adjustable at the touch of a button using the EBC; the EBC is equipped with a TPS Smart feature that matches boost to throttle position. By synchronizing boost to throttle position the EBC controls boost so there is always boost when the throttle is opened and over-boost at part throttle is prevented. As with all new BoonDocker Turbo Systems, the ProClimb M8 System comes pre-assembled, includes clutching components, and will run on either pump gas or higher octane fuels.

In 2011 Keith Curtis used a prototype BoonDocker turbo on a POLARIS PRO RMK to win King of Kings at the World Championship Hill Climbs in Jackson Hole. That was just the beginning of many wins for Keith in the 2011-13 seasons. Keith Curtis ended the 2013 season by winning the King of Kings in the last race of the year at Schweitzer. There are many other Racers who have enjoyed top finishes and the reliability of their BD PRO Turbo System. To name a few: Shelley Heap, Erin Beukelman, Luke Rainey, Aaron Sterck, and Cole Wilford.

Continuing the success of the BOONDOCKER POLARIS PRO RMK Turbo System, BD has added some NEW features for even better performance in 2014. New features included in the base price are a smaller and lighter weight redesigned muffler which reduces heat on the quick drive belt system and creates a more open foot well. Muffler redesign also includes a quick drive belt heat shield, maintains our deep snow exhaust outlet, and has a great sound. A new cold air intake connects to the stock cold air intake (plenum) with a 3” high flow tubular design for increased throttle response with no hood modifications.

Other included features customers have come to love and demand are components like the world famous next generation Boondocker Turbo Control Box with integrated Electronic Boost Controller (EBC) and electronic timing control. Components like high flowing turbine exhaust housings coupled with our redesigned light weight stainless steel muffler, advanced compressor wheel aerodynamics, elevation specific clutching, a vented no-spill oil tank, and a Torque Building air box design that features dual billet aluminum o-ring throttle body adaptors with dual auxiliary injectors. As always, all of our BD Turbo Systems will run on either pump gas or higher octane fuels.

Overview
The SKI-DOO E-TEC XP turbo kit has been proven and tested over the past several years by many and the BD XP kit is proven to be a reliable turbo system with a significant performance increase. BoonDocker developed the kit so that everything mounts inside the body panels. Each BD turbo kit comes complete with all turbo and electronic components, vents, clutching components, and a quart of TC2 turbo oil.

The pre-assembled turbo kit features BoonDocker’s proprietary no spill vented oil tank, a Garrett GT 2860 turbo charger, and a turbo exhaust flange that mounts directly to the stock expansion chamber without any welding. Aluminum charge tubes feed an extruded aluminum intercooler that is mounted under the front hood of the machine, an electric fan ensures good air flow through the intercooler at all times. The E-TEC turbo kit uses a torque building air box with dual tubular runners feeding air to the throttle bodies. This design has proven to offer an increase in low-end torque. Auxiliary injectors mounted in air box feed additional fuel to the machine. These injectors are controlled by the BoonDocker Control Box. Adjustments to fueling can be made at the push of a button using the Control Box and 3D tuning allows for tuning adjustments based on boost, throttle position, and rpm for the most exact fuel mixture. Turbo boost is adjustable thanks to the Electronic Boost Controller (EBC). This electronic module allows for easy adjustments of boost along with the option to use a handlebar mounted button that when pressed will further increase boost. The EBC also features TPS Smart that controls boost relative to throttle position. TPS Smart ensures instant boost at any throttle position and prevents over boosting with a closed throttle. As always, all of our BD Turbo Systems will run on either pump gas or higher octane fuels.

The Aerocharger 53 Series is Aerocharger’s smaller bodied, versatile turbo. This turbo is sized to run optimally with engines that range from 25-150hp when naturally aspirated, and the 53 Series is capable of producing up to 250hp when used with engines in this category.

66 Series

The Aerocharger 66 Series is Aerocharger’s larger bodied, higher capacity turbo. This turbo is best suited for engines that produce 150hp or greater when naturally aspirated, and the 66 Series is capable of producing up to 375hp when used with engines in this category.

Blow-Off Valves

Performance, reliability, high quality and made from tough and durable billet aluminium and including many innovative features like the billet V-band clamp for fast and reliable installation. Big flow capabilities while being small in size and light in weight.

Wastegates

A wastegate is a valve which controls the flow of exhaust gas from an engine to the turbocharger. By controlling the flow of exhaust gas to the turbine of the turbocharger, the wastegate can control the boost pressure provided by the turbocharger to the engine.

Wastegate Actuators

An internal wastegate has the wastegate valve built into the turbine housing. The wastegate valve is controlled by an actuator consisting of a spring and a sealed chamber. The sealed chamber of the actuator is connected to a pressure only source.

Boost Control

Mechanical boost controllers offer up to two boost settings controlled via a switch. Simple in operation and require little maintenance. Electronic boost controllers offer a host of boost settings mapped against different triggers like gear change, time, rpm or a manual switch.

Fuel Management

The installation of performance fuel injectors or a high-flow fuel pump requires the use of an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator to allow pressure adjustments while maintaining a stable base pressure. They can also be used to maximise a standard fuel system.

Silicone Hose

It is a well-proven fact that silicone hoses are stronger, tougher and more flexible than ordinary rubber hoses. With any serious racing machine all the rubber hoses have been replaced with silicone. Racers and performance enthusiasts rely on the strength and flexibility of silicone.

Fuel Cut Defenders

Allows for an accurate increase in the factory fuel cut-out level. allow boost pressure to be increased above the factory level and prevent momentary shutdown of the fuel injectors - hence maximising the factory turbo system. A must for factory turbo charged engines.
