Universal Standalone engine management system is designed for Powersports. This affordable, lightweight, compact and powerful system features robust Series 2 EMS hardware in a weather and shock proof enclosure, with a 36-pin connector specifically designed to survive harsh racing environments.
Series 2 Software
Infinitely adjustable. It allows tuners to program virtually any combination of engine control, power adders and auxiliary devices, and accurately delivers proper amounts of fuel and correct ignition timing for any boost level or operating condition.
Logging & Analysis Software
A custom data analysis package for select AEM products that features advanced 3D graphics and a user-friendly interface. It allows the user to review and playback vehicle, driver or engine data and overlay this data using charts, dash displays, gauges, or custom displays that you create. High-speed logging is saved to a file internally or via PC connection.
Offers two sizes of wiring harness for easily installing an EMS-4 onto your racecar or Powersports racing vehicle; an 18" flying lead harness (PN 30-2905-18) and 96" flying lead harness (PN 30-2905-96). Both wiring harnesses have weatherproof connectors and color-coded, silk-screened and bundled wires to ease installation, and are pre-wired for AEMnet, power/ground, CAN, RS-232 and remote USB.
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
Capable of supporting enough fuel flow for engines up to 1000 horsepower. Patented interchangeable discharge ports enable the regulator's output to match the output of any fuel pump. Our universal FPR is tapped to accept a -6 AN, or 9/16”x18 fittings and includes a 1/8 NPT port for a fuel pressure gauge or pressure sensor pick up.
High Volume Fuel Filter
Specifically engineered for maximizing flow without sacrificing filtration, is designed for ease of installation. Filter flow up to 12.32 gpm @ 45 PSI and 2.63 gpm @ 6 PSI. Machined O-ring receiver grooves on the end caps ensure against leaks.
High Volume Fuel Rail
Features a 1/2-inch fuel bore to support fuel flow for applications up to 1,000 horsepower. This large bore also dampens backpressure pulses created by larger injectors and works perfectly with stock injector sizes. An additional 1/8th NPT port is included to accommodate a nitrous set up or fuel pressure gauge. A custom fuel line fitting is included for the factory fuel line.
Peak & Hold Injector Driver
Contains 10 independent injector drive channels. Each channel supplies full battery voltage to a fuel injector for rapid current rise, in order to produce positive injector opening. When load current reaches 4.1A (amps), the injector driver reduces the load current to 1.1A and operates as a constant current source. This condition holds the injector open, and reduces system power dissipation.
Each gauge comes with interchangeable black/silver bezels and black/white faceplates. 0-5V analog output included for use with data loggers and virtually any engine management system. Auto-dimming gauge face and read out lighting included. Standard 52mm (2-1/16”) gauge housing. Digital readout will automatically increase and decrease in intensity due to the built in ambient light sensing photocell.
electronic boost controller that combines the simplicity of a manual boost controller with the added ease of adjusting boost levels through a gauge interface. There is no external interface required for set up, and it is fully functional right out of the box.
Wideband UEGO air/fuel ratio controller (AFR) and gauge in one. It unites accuracy, speed and control with an easy to read, digital LED display and sweeping LED “needle” that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. The Bosch UEGO sensor gives the controller its speed and accuracy. It is laboratory calibrated at the factory and NEVER requires free-air calibration when used with AEM wideband air/fuel controllers.
Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen controller with an internal boost sensor, an internal data logger and a full color Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display. It includes technology to activate a failsafe strategy in the event AFR falls outside of a user-defined operating window. If the AFR falls outside of the set operating window, the gauge triggers a user defined function preventing catastrophic damage.
